A TV is a different machine with the same Android inside. The tunnel code carries over; everything you touch does not.
The roadmap above is about platforms. These are the other products inside the account you already have — all of them live.
We are a small team, so the order matters more than the list. Three rules decide it, in this order.
Support messages and search demand, counted rather than guessed. Linux moved up because the requests did.
Two builds in parallel is our ceiling. Three means all three ship late, and we have made that mistake.
The first release covers the common case properly. Edge cases follow in updates, not in a longer wait.
It is committed but not started — Android TV and Linux ship first. We are not giving a date, because Apple review is not ours to schedule. In the meantime the VPN works on iOS through the browser, and you can follow the build in our Telegram channel.
Yes. Install it in one line with curl -fsSL https://sandvpn.com/install.sh | sh, or add our signed apt repository. It ships WireGuard and the censorship-resistant Xray protocol, an nftables kill switch, a command-line client for servers and a desktop app — all from the same repository, with automatic updates through apt.
Not yet. It is planned right after iOS, because the two share the same network layer — building one makes the other far cheaper. macOS users can use the Chrome, Firefox or Edge extension today.
That is the plan. Fire OS is Android underneath, so the same build should install. We are testing on a Google TV box and a Fire Stick before release; Nvidia Shield and Chromecast with Google TV are on the same list.
Because we would miss them. A small team publishing quarters ends up either padding every estimate or apologising every quarter. This page moves when the code does instead: an entry changes state the day the build is public, and nothing sits in development that nobody is working on.
Yes, and it counts. What we build next is decided mostly by what people ask for. Telegram is the fastest way to reach us, or email [email protected]. Requests for the same platform get grouped, so saying it even if someone already has is useful.
